“Let the music live forever!”

Are you looking to make a lasting impact that could help guarantee the vibrant future of live symphonic music in Northeast Indiana for generations to come? Orchestrate your legacy with a planned gift to the Fort Wayne Philharmonic.

Since its earliest days, the Fort Wayne Philharmonic has depended on planned and deferred gifts to help sustain extraordinary artistry, a stellar array of musical programming, and invaluable music education resources to our community. In simple terms, a planned gift is the reassignment of a donor’s assets to a selected charity. In addition to providing much-needed support for Fort Wayne Philharmonic programs, a planned gift may provide you and your family significant benefits.

A planned gift may enable you to:

  • Provide a meaningful and lasting investment in the arts and community
  • Ensure that your assets specifically benefit the Philharmonic
  • Substantially decrease your income tax and estate tax obligations, while maximizing the amount provided to your heirs through thoughtful tax planning

In appreciation of your generosity and vision, you will become a member of the Laureate Club. The Laureate Club is comprised of individuals who have established a deferred gift to the Fort Wayne Philharmonic through an estate plan or other financial planning instrument. With your permission, you will be acknowledged in the Philharmonic’s Prelude program books. Should you wish to remain anonymous, the Philharmonic will acknowledge your gift privately. Simply inform the office that you have named the Philharmonic as the beneficiary of a bequest in your will. The Philharmonic gratefully acknowledges the generosity, foresight, and lifelong commitment of each Laureate Club member.

Please contact the Philharmonic Development Office if you are considering or have made plans that include the Fort Wayne Philharmonic. Staff members are happy to provide you and your financial advisors with legacy ideas for consideration. The Fort Wayne Philharmonic Endowment

Established in 1966 by a group of future-thinking leaders and seeded with $250,000 from the Ford Foundation, the Philharmonic's Endowment has grown through the generosity of Northeast Indiana, providing over 1million in support annual to the orchestra. As individual and corporate contributions can fluctuate wildly with changes in the economy, the Philharmonic relies on an increasing Endowment Fund to help sustain an orchestra of this caliber and continue providing outstanding concerts and music education programs for generations to come.

The Fort Wayne Philharmonic Endowment Fund ensures the financial security of our orcehstra for future generations. Supporting the Endowment Fund through a planned gift can help you create meaningful legacy on music in Fort Wayne that will last in perpetuity, stewarded by an organization you love.
