Education Video Series 
The Philharmonic has created a series of educational videos to provide digital alternatives to in-person performances while enriching music curriculums for schools and students throughout the region.

Two videos, a Violins of Hope Retrospective, which explores music inspired by Jewish culture and commemorates the events of the Holocaust, and Beethoven@250, which celebrates the iconic composer’s 250th birthday with performances by the Philharmonic’s Youth Orchestras, are available. Connections between Music and Literature
Enjoy these great cross-curricular lesson plans focusing on the connections between music and literature and how they both serve as inspiration for each other.  Students will be intrigued to learn how composers and authors make similar decisions when writing their works.

Connections between Music and History

Throughout the summer, our Youth Orchestra Director, Troy Webdell, presented some exciting educational programs designed to engage students of all ages about classical music.  We are proud to share the wonderful music featured on Stories in Music here
