Nominations are now being accepted for the Music Educator of the Year Awards, honoring outstanding educators in the public, parochial, and private schools in northeast Indiana. Award recipients will be selected by committee based on nominations and letters of recommendation.
Winners Receive
- $500 cash prize
- Cash allowance to winner’s school for music resources
- Banner for the school
- Commemorative plaque
- Two series subscriptions to the 2025-2026 Philharmonic season

We invite all music educators, administrators, parents, and students in the Philharmonic’s 11-county region to participate in the awards program by submitting the nomination form and an accompanying letter by February 24.
Award winners will be recognized at the Philharmonic’s Family Concert on Saturday, March 22, 11:00 AM, at the Purdue Fort Wayne Music Center.
