Dismisses Charge Against Fort Wayne Philharmonic

On Friday, Jan. 22, 2021, the National Labor Relations Board, Region 25, dismissed an Unfair Labor Practice charge filed against the Fort Wayne Philharmonic by the American Federation of Musicians Local 58 and Fort Wayne Musicians Association. The charge alleged that the Philharmonic violated the National Labor Relations Act with regard to the recent furlough of Philharmonic musicians. The board found that the Philharmonic had acted within its rights.
