The Arts United Center, located near many of Fort Wayne’s downtown art spaces, was designed by renowned architect Louis Kahn and completed in 1973. The building reflects Kahn’s approach of utilizing fundamental shapes and materials and is known for its superb acoustics: Kahn desired that even a whisper could be heard from stage without any amplification. The Arts United Center is the venue for many arts and culture performances throughout the year.
