We are thrilled to announce an exceptional opportunity for music enthusiasts and aspiring pianists! Renowned pianist Orli Shaham will be teaching a masterclass hosted by the PFW School of Music. Orli Shaham is celebrated for her grace, subtlety, and brilliance, performing with major orchestras worldwide and captivating audiences from Carnegie Hall to the Sydney Opera House. Her extensive discography includes the complete Mozart piano sonatas and over a dozen critically acclaimed recordings. She is on the faculty at The Juilliard School, serves as Artistic Director of Café Ludwig with Pacific Symphony, and is a Co-Host and Creative for the national radio program From the Top.

Orli Shaham will also be performing with our orchestra during Masterworks 6, presenting Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G major—a dazzling fusion of jazz-inspired rhythms and classical sophistication. This powerful work will be part of an unforgettable evening that features:

  • Anna Clyne’s This Midnight Hour – A contemporary piece that immerses audiences in a world of atmospheric beauty and innovation.
  • Copland’s Third Symphony – Featuring the triumphant Fanfare for the Common Man, an iconic American masterpiece that captures the spirit of the nation with its expansive landscapes and heroic themes.
