Fort Wayne (October 12, 2023) -- The Fort Wayne Philharmonic is thrilled to announce a new series of concerts, “The Sound of Innovation” at Electric Works. A symphonic celebration of Fort Wayne, this unique performance will blend memorable melodies with the Electric Works building’s rich history.

The repertoire for the evening will feature a diverse selection of classical masterpieces, promising to stir the soul and inspire the imagination. Whether you are a seasoned classical music follower or a newcomer to the world of orchestral performances, this event guarantees an enriching and delightful experience for all.

The first performance in this three-part series will be on October 21 and features Dar Richardson Conducting Fellow, Alex Lee as conductor. Andre Gaskins, principal cellist for the Philharmonic will be featured on pieces such as Gabriel Faure’s Elegy for Violoncello & Orchestra and Camille Saint-Saëns Allegro appassionato.
