What is Club Orchestra?

Join the Fort Wayne Philharmonic's Club Orchestra program and give your child the opportunity to grow through music. Designed for Pre-K through 5th grade students, Club Orchestra is part of the global El Sistema movement—a visionary approach using music to transform lives and build community.

A Program That Grows With You

Club Kid-O (Pre-K – Grade 1)

Explore Music & Rhythm!

Through singing, movement, rhythm games, and playful instrument exploration, our youngest musicians begin their musical journey in a joyful and supportive setting.

Program Details:

  • Open to Pre-K–1st grade students at Forest Park, South Wayne, and Waynedale Elementary Schools
  • Pre-K meets during the school day
  • K–1 students meet Tues & Thurs, 3:30–4:45 PM
  • Uses Orff instruments: xylophones, glockenspiels, marimbas, metallophones
  • Rehearsals begin Tuesday, September 23

Club O (Grades 2-5)

Learn to Play & Perform!

Students receive hands-on violin instruction and learn how to play in an ensemble, ending the year with a performance alongside the Fort Wayne Philharmonic!

Program Details:

  • Open to 2nd–5th grade students at Forest Park, South Wayne, and Waynedale Elementary Schools
  • Meets Tues & Thurs, 3:30–4:45 PM
  • Violins and music provided
  • Rehearsals begin Tuesday, September 9
  • End-of-year performance with the Philharmonic
