Join us for a heartwarming tale that celebrates the ancient history of the Day of the Dead and explores themes of love, loss, and remembrance through the eyes of two sisters. Featuring the bilingual book Rosita y Conchita by Erich Jaeger and Eric Gonzalez, music from Mexico, Argentina, Peru, Bolivia, and Latin America, dance ensemble Folklor De Mi Tierra, and narrator Kevin Torwelle. Don’t forget to come dressed in your favorite costume for our costume contest!
This concert welcomes all, including individuals with sensory sensitivities and diverse abilities. We provide the following resources: social story PDF/video, sign language interpreter, narrator, calming area, pre-concert activities, sensory fidgets, noise canceling headphones (while supplies last), and a feedback survey for patrons to share their thoughts.
