Acclaimed British composer Errollyn Wallen (born 1958) is Master of the King’s Music. Young American cellist Madelyn Kowalski worked with Wallen in Scotland in 2020, and now brings this virtuosic and passionate concerto to Fort Wayne. Rachmaninoff’s No. 2 is an artistic triumph, running the gamut from dark and mournful to rowdy and raucous.
