Planned Giving: Laureate Club
The Laureate Club is comprised of individuals who have established a deferred gift to the Fort Wayne Philharmonic through an estate plan or other financial planning instrument. The Philharmonic gratefully acknowledges their generosity, foresight, and lifelong commitment.

Since its earliest days, planned and deferred gifts to the Fort Wayne Philharmonic have sustained the fine art of musical performance and educational programming in northeast Indiana. In simple terms, a planned gift is the reassignment of a donor’s assets to a selected charity. In addition to providing much-needed support for Fort Wayne Philharmonic programs, a planned gift may provide you and your family significant benefits.

A properly designed planned gift may enable you to:

  • Provide a meaningful and lasting investment in the Philharmonic for future generations
  • Ensure that your assets specifically benefit the Philharmonic
  • Substantially decrease your income tax and estate tax obligations and maximize the amount provided to your heirs through thoughtful tax planning

Please contact The Phil's Development Office if you are considering or have made plans that include the Fort Wayne Philharmonic. Staff members are happy to provide you and your financial advisors with legacy ideas for consideration. Questions about planned giving should be directed to the Development Office at 260.481.0775.

Tribute Gifts
It is The Phil's policy that gifts made in honor or memory of friends or loved ones are placed in the Endowment Fund. Gifts made to the Endowment Fund are held in perpetuity, the interest generated providing ongoing operating support for Philharmonic programs and sercvies.

Founded in 1944, the Fort Wayne Philharmonic has grown from a modest community orchestra into one of the two largest performing ensembles in Indiana. This healthy growth has been possible in part due to the presence of the Endowment Fund. As individual and corporate contributions can fluctuate wildly with changes in the economy, the Philharmonic relies on an increasing Endowment to help sustain an orchestra of this caliber and continue providing outstanding concerts and music education programs for generations to come.

Please contact the Development Office at 260.481.0775 for more information about supporting the Philharmonic’s Endowment Fund.
